More than 100 UK and international designers make up Designers Block, featuring furniture, lighting and textiles. The Clerkenwell exhibition will include ung8, a showcase of the best new Swedish design from Svensk Form, ceramics from the New English, concrete from Graphic Relief and textiles workshops from Puff&Flock.

British furniture manufacturer Modus will present a striking installation at their Clerkenwell showroom. 

Entitled Process, this exhibition of chairs, will illustrate the step-by-step production methods required to produce these pieces, from traditional to modern techniques, explained through drawings, images, prototypes and models. The showroom will feature new pieces from PearsonLloyd, Michael Sodeau and Monica Forster.

Modus will also be introducing their latest collection at designjunction

The SCIN Gallery, a new and Independent materials library and resource centre for architects launches this September. Located in a stunning four-storey building, the SCIN Gallery will bring together a collection of leading international brands specialising in material and architectural components. The SCIN Gallery is the physical manifestation of SCIN, the online materials database.

Bernhardt Design will premier Workshop by Dutch designers Kiki van Eijk and Joost van Bleiswijk - the latest couple to join forces in the studio for Bernhardt Design. Leading the new generation of Dutch designers, much of Kiki’s and Joost’s work is based on the traditions of the workshop and a respect of craft. Their personal studio became the inspiration and starting point for Workshop which comprises forty textiles and an accompanying chaise.

After two years research, denim brand G-Star, the Prouvé family and Vitra have worked together to give Jean Prouvé’s best known designs a fresh and contemporary look and feel, while re-discovering unfamiliar works which will be shown for the first time in the UK. Jean Prouvé’s works have been a strong focus in the Vitra Design Museum collection. Since 2001, Vitra had had the exclusive manufacturing rights for Jean Prouve’s designs.
